Privacy Policy

Effective date: 10 September 2026 · Last updated: 10 September 2026

This policy explains what personal data NeetiSense collects, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, how long we keep it, and the choices and rights you have. It is written to comply with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”) and to be understood on the first read. If anything here is unclear, write to us at manoj@neetisense.com.

1. Who we are

“NeetiSense”, “we” and “us” mean [FILL: legal entity name and form, e.g. “NeetiSense Technologies Private Limited” or “Manoj Kumar Kushwaha, sole proprietor trading as NeetiSense”], [FILL: registered address, City, State, PIN], India. We are the data fiduciary for the data described here, which is the DPDP Act’s term for the party that decides why and how your data is processed.

NeetiSense is a quantitative research and analytics platform for Indian equity markets. We provide decision-support tools. We are not a stockbroker, we do not hold client funds or securities, and we are not registered with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) as an investment adviser or research analyst.

2. What we collect, and why

2.1 If you join the waitlist on www.neetisense.com

  • Your email address (stored lower-cased), so we can send you the one confirmation email and, once you confirm, news about the beta and product updates.
  • An optional self-description if you choose to tell us what kind of investor you are (for example “systematic trader”). It helps us understand who is waiting. It is never required.
  • Your consent (the box you tick), the time you signed up and confirmed, and, if you arrived through a link that carried one, a campaign source tag.
  • A single-use confirmation token inside the link we email you. It proves the address is yours (double opt-in) and does nothing else.

Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it: every email we send carries an “Unsubscribe in one click” link (and works with your mail app’s own Unsubscribe button), which marks you as unsubscribed immediately. You can also write to manoj@neetisense.com, and we remove you within 7 days. If you later sign up again, that counts as fresh consent and you receive a new confirmation email.

The form also runs two anti-spam checks (a hidden field bots fill in, and how quickly the form was submitted). These do not store anything about you; they only decide whether a submission is accepted.

2.2 If you use the NeetiSense application (beta)

  • Account details: your email address, a display name if you give one, and your password. We store the password only as a one-way cryptographic hash; we cannot read it and never will ask for it.
  • Google sign-in identifier, only if you choose to sign in with Google. We receive your Google account’s email and a stable identifier from Google. We do not receive your Google password or access to anything else in your Google account.
  • Your plan and role within NeetiSense, and the things you create in the product: portfolios, strategy selections, settings, and the analyses you run.
  • Alert delivery settings, if you configure them: the web address you want signals sent to and the signing secret for it. These are encrypted at rest.
  • A security log of sign-ins, password changes and similar events, including the IP address and browser identifier the event came from and the time it happened. We keep this to detect account abuse and to investigate security incidents.
  • Emails we send you for account purposes: email verification, password reset, and security notices. These are not marketing and cannot be opted out of while you hold an account.

Legal basis: performing the service you asked for (your account), and the legitimate purpose of keeping the service secure.

2.3 What we deliberately do not collect

  • No broker credentials. We never ask for, store or use your stockbroker login, API keys or trading passwords. NeetiSense does not place orders on your behalf.
  • No payment details. There is no online billing at present; plans are set up manually by us. If online payments are introduced they will be handled by a payment provider and this policy will be updated first.
  • No government identifiers such as PAN or Aadhaar.
  • No advertising trackers, analytics scripts or third-party cookies on www.neetisense.com. The marketing site makes no request to any third party when you load it.
  • No selling of personal data, ever.

3. Cookies and browser storage

www.neetisense.com sets no cookies. The application at beta.neetisense.com stores a session token in your browser’s local storage so that you stay signed in; it is removed when you sign out. We do not use cookies or local storage for advertising or cross-site tracking.

4. Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers. Each receives only what it needs for its task.

  • Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts the marketing site, answers our domain’s DNS, and stores the waitlist in a Cloudflare database. It also protects the application’s public address.
  • Resend, Inc. (which sends through Amazon Web Services) — delivers the emails we send. It processes your email address and the message content.
  • Google LLC — only if you choose “Sign in with Google”, to verify your Google sign-in.
  • [FILL: application hosting provider, e.g. ReignDC / Bitseva] — the servers in India on which the application and its database run.

Cloudflare and Amazon Web Services may store or process data on servers outside India. The DPDP Act permits this unless the Government of India restricts a particular country; we will follow any such restriction.

We also disclose personal data when the law requires it — for example, a valid order from a court or a government authority in India — and we will tell you about such a request unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

5. How long we keep data

  • Waitlist: until you withdraw consent, or until 12 months after we either open the product to you or decide not to. Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 90 days.
  • Account data: for as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where we must keep a record to comply with law or to resolve a dispute.
  • Security log: up to 12 months, then deleted.
  • Email delivery records held by our email provider: per that provider’s retention, which we do not extend.

6. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it has been processed.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data, and update it.
  • Erase your data, subject to any legal duty we have to retain it.
  • Withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing, as easily as you gave it.
  • Nominate a person to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become incapacitated.
  • Grievance redressal (see section 9), and, if you are not satisfied with our response, to complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any right, email manoj@neetisense.com from the address on your account or waitlist entry. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

All traffic to our site and application is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Secrets you give us, such as alert signing keys, are encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to the people who run the service, using key-based authentication. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.

8. Children

NeetiSense is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us data, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Grievance officer and contact

Grievance officer: [FILL: name], NeetiSense
Email: manoj@neetisense.com
Address: [FILL: registered address, City, State, PIN], India

We acknowledge grievances within 7 days and aim to resolve them within 30 days.

10. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the dates at the top and, for material changes, email account holders and confirmed waitlist members before the change takes effect. The current version always lives at www.neetisense.com/privacy.html.
